A federal judge in Billings recently sentenced a man who said he was a mule in a meth trafficking ring to 10 years in prison and ordered his deportation when the term is completed.

U.S. District Judge Susan Watters on Feb. 7 sentenced Kevin Torres-Ochoa, 28, who is from Mexico, for his role in a large conspiracy investigation that involved at least nine people, the Billings Gazette reports. Watters also ordered Torres-Ochoa to be referred to immigration officials for deportation when his sentence is served.
